? Experience of supporting and maintaining complex Java web enabled applications
? A basic understanding of web application architecture
? Familiar with content management systems
? Capable of locating and interpreting log files and other diagnostic information
? Familiar with basic Unix / Linux commands
? An good understanding of the Java programming language and frameworks (Spring MVC, Hibernate etc)
? Identify easily errors from JAVA stackTraces
? Find components involved in the issue and determine which is the root origin of the problem
? An understanding of Oracle and MySQL databases and SQL
? Experience of WebLogic or similar application servers.
? Confident at communications in English
? Able to talk fluently with developers or backoffice in the customer
? Able to write reports so customers understand the status of issues, progress,etc
? Eager to learn
? Excellent english skills articulate, both verbally and in writing.
? 2-3 years in the fields specified above, in mid-large organizations (minimum 150-200 users)
? Degree in Computer Science or similar
? Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical staff in the English language
? Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

We are currently looking for a JAVA Application Support Developer to be based in our Malaga office.
? Supporting multiple customers, solutions and technologies
? Incident and Problem Management
? Application fault diagnosis and providing a problem statements
? Suggest resolutions for incidents
? Communicating with customer development teams
? Customer liaison, being responsible for customer communication and escalations throughout the incident lifecycle and also Problem Management.
? Maintaining support processes and documentation.
? Take corrective action to address issues
? Provide operational instructions for system users to resolve issues
? Liaise with platform support teams to identify fixes which require infrastructure configuration modifications
? Compile problem statements and/or log JIRA issues where code defects are identified
? For unsupported applications reassign incidents to the appropriate resolver group or 3rd party
? Participate in knowledge transfer exercises in order to get up to speed with new applications
? Provide estimates for small development enhancements and deliver within these estimates
? Work on development projects when time permits.
